Nationally, the Y has been a leader in providing summer camp for over 130 years.  Our Y summer camps continue to give youth an enriching, safe experience with caring staff and volunteers who model positive values that help build kids’ character.

Just one camp experience can positively change a child’s life forever.

Children are our future, and the skills learned and relationships fostered at so many camps throughout the country are often life-changing stepping stones on the road to adulthood. Children come to camp from all walks of life, eager to learn, yearning to make new friends, ready to take on new challenges and discover gifts they didn’t know they had.

Attending summer camp is beneficial to every child’s personal development.  The experience teaches essential leadership and social skills and helps youth develop confidence and independence.  YMCA summer camp supports the social-emotional growth, cognitive development and physical well-being of kids.

Just $250 will send a child to camp for one week.

To ensure that all kids have this opportunity, the YMCA of Greater Monmouth County has a financial assistance program to help parents in need send their child to camp.  This is only possible through the generous donations of our supporters.  Join us in our mission to give the best summer ever to as many of our community children as possible, regardless of their families’ financial position.  No amount is too small and every dollar counts!

Please help send a child to camp this summer!
