As you continue on your journey to a healthier lifestyle, you may choose to have a Wellness Orientation. A member of the Wellness Team will develop a safe and effective Wellness Plan, and make recommendations to help you achieve your health and wellness goals. Orientations can be scheduled at the Welcome Center of your local branch.
Participants must fill out a health history form, which can be found at the Welcome Center.

The Diabetes Prevention Program provides a supportive environment where you can work with others in a small group setting to learn how to adopt healthy habits and reduce your chances of developing Type 2 diabetes.
The program is led by a trained Lifestyle Coach in a classroom setting, over a 12-month period. It begins with 16 weekly sessions, followed by meetings once a month. Discussions will center around strategies for eating healthier, increasing physical activity and making other changes to improve overall health and well-being.
Take the first step and find out if you are at risk and take the prediabetes assessment.
This program may be covered by your health insurance carrier, and is now free to Medicaid participants. If you have private health insurance, check with your employer if this program is a covered benefit, or contact the Diabetes Prevention and Control Alliance to confirm eligibility at 800.237.4942.
