The idea was well-received globally, and the first International Women’s Day took place in 1911, drawing more than 1 million people to rallies worldwide. Decades later, the United Nations General Assembly officially marked March 8 as International Women’s Day in 1975.

Team up with a high school student and get help with your schoolwork! Tutoring is offered at no charge and will be located at the Bayshore Family Success Center (945 Hwy 36 Leonardo).

1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month, 9am-12pm
Come see the Bayshore Family Success Center at United Methodist Church in Atlantic Highlands (96 Third Ave) for help completing any applications. We will also be providing information about our center/what we offer, handing out fliers/calendars, and providing valuable resources you may need. A notary will also be on site to notorize documents.
