Help us give to those who need us most.

In honor of the mission of Dr. King, the Y will collect new/gently used winter clothing through the month of January to share with our neighbors in need in partnership with Lunch Break.

Kindly bring donations of winter clothing to the MLK Breakfast to support under-served members of our community. You may also

drop donations of new coats, hats, mittens, socks and other warm-weather clothing in all ages and sizes for children, men and women to the lobby bins at our YMCA locations in Freehold, Old Bridge and Red Bank by Jan. 31. Learn more and thank you for helping us serve others.

2020 YMCA Essay Contest

As part of our commitment to engage more youth and inspire future leaders, we invited high school students from greater Monmouth County to participate in an essay contest. Two essays were selected as grand prize winners. Congratulations to Maya Gerke of Freehold Township High School and Nghi Nguyen of Raritan High School, who will each receive a $1,000 scholarship for their education generously donated by Hackensack Meridian Health and New Jersey Natural Gas, as well as a full-year youth membership to a YMCA of Greater Monmouth County branch of their choice. Both will read their winning essays at our event.
