The YMCA is one of the nation’s largest and most trusted providers of child care services. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and impact on our community, we’re here to support the evolving needs in education, as a Y Academy partner to schools and families who need safe, affordable educational enrichment and child care.

Y Academy offers a safe and enriching full day program 2 to 5 days a week*, with flexible time options for parents who need to return to work while virtual learning is in session. Students will receive support with virtual programming lessons and activities, physical fitness, STEAM challenges, social-emotional learning, and more.

Holiday Schedule
All Y Academies will be closed November 25-27 and December 24-January 1, 2021. We will re-open on Monday, January 4, 2021. To ensure your safety through the holiday season, please read the CDC’s recommendations on holiday gathering and travel.

Safety Is Our Priority

We follow all CDC, local health department and licensing guidelines and are working in partnership with our school districts to follow health, safety, cleaning, and PPE protocols. Students should bring their Chromebooks, school work, water bottle, snack and lunch; no glass bottles please.

Y Academy Enrollment Options

> Flexible Schedule: 2 to 5 days a week*
> Full School Day: 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
> Extended Care: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
> Convenient Locations: Freehold Borough YMCA Community Center, Freehold Family YMCA, Matawan Children’s Achievement Center, Old Bridge YMCA, & Red Bank YMCA
